Hi! I'm Jesper and I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Music Business at Uniarts Helsinki's Sibelius Academy. (Ranked 9th in the QS World University Rankings for Music 2025)My primary interests include publishing, copyright legislation, advocacy and PRO/CMO-related opportunities. That said, I'm equally open to exploring new and exciting opportunities in the music industry outside these fields.Additionally, I can offer my master's thesis to your organization if we find a suitable collaborative topic.Below you'll find three of my recent academic and professional achievements. Redesigning Processes That Last and Brings Results
While finishing my thesis, I started working at an outdoor gear company Varuste.net which competes in the global retail market.After graduating, I was quickly entrusted with leading a major development project focused on warranty claims and material waste.I was responsible for redesigning and implementing a traceable, controllable process to reduce financial losses and keep a track of material waste.The solution was highly praised amongst other things for its impact, traceability, and effectiveness and is still in use today.

In my bachelor's thesis "Case SkärTurné: Revitalizing sparsely populated rural areas through project means" I studied focus groups for an event concept called SkärTurné.The concept of SkärTurné is to create interest in Turku archipelago as a living environment for younger generation through culture events.The thesis was graded excellent (5/5) and received a stipend for being a thesis of particular merit.

in the music industry
I have hands-on experience from internships at Capitol Records Finland, Nordic Music Partners and Fried Music. These roles gave me a comprehensive insight into the music industry, covering labels, publishing and production.Two key highlights from my experience include:Initiating and developing a yearly "wrap" report at Fried Music on the company's streaming and radio success, which was adopted as an annual practice.
